Why installers use PUSH for paint protection film

Clean slip

Position film precisely on hoods, fenders and bumpers. No dragging, no fingering edges.

Safe on clear coat

pH-balanced. Won't strip wax, ceramic coatings, or compromise PPF adhesive.

Zero soap residue

Soap and baby shampoo leave film that ruins long-term adhesion. PUSH rinses clean.

Slip + tack in one

Adjust concentration for slip on the paint and tack on the adhesive — one packet, both sides.

Pre-measured

No guessing. Same mix on every install, across every job, every installer in the shop.

Sized for shops

Single packets, 10-packs for daily installers, bulk refills for high-volume PPF shops.

PPF install gel — frequently asked questions

What is PPF installation gel?

PPF installation gel is a concentrated slip solution mixed with water and sprayed between paint protection film (PPF) and a vehicle's painted surface. It lets the installer position the film, squeegee out water and contamination, and lock the adhesive down for a clean, bubble-free bond.

Can I use PUSH Install System for PPF (paint protection film)?

Yes. PUSH is a pH-balanced concentrated install gel formulated for both window tint and PPF installation. One pre-measured packet mixes into a 20–24 oz spray bottle of clean water to make slip solution for PPF squeegeeing and positioning.

How do you mix PPF install gel?

Fill a clean 20–24 oz spray bottle with distilled or filtered water, add one PUSH packet, shake for a full 2 minutes, and adjust concentration to your install preference. Use it as your slip solution on the paint and as your tack solution on the adhesive side of the PPF.

Is PUSH safe on clear coat and PPF adhesive?

Yes. PUSH is formulated to be safe on automotive clear coat, ceramic coatings, and PPF adhesive. It pushes contamination out from under the film without leaving residue that interferes with the long-term bond.

How much PPF can one packet install?

One PUSH packet makes a full 20–24 oz spray bottle, which is enough slip solution for most full-hood, fender, or bumper PPF installs. High-volume shops doing full-vehicle wraps should use the 10-pack or bulk refill.

Do I need different gel for PPF vs window tint?

No. PUSH is one concentrated install system that works for both PPF and window tint. Adjust the dilution slightly stronger for PPF tack and slightly lighter for tint slip if you prefer — same packet, both jobs.
